Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
Initial responsibilities for this position include:
Collecting and analyzing quantitative information
Generating environmental impact profiles for various industries/industrial processes
Conducting independent technical and historical research on a variety of environmental issues
Preparing deliverables and presenting findings to clients
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess the following credentials:
Degree in Engineering, Economics, Math, Environmental Science/Policy or the Physical Sciences; advanced degree a plus
A minimum of 5+ years work experience
Strong quantitative abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Team player with a high degree of self motivation
Preferences:
Knowledge of greenhouse gas (GHG) policy frameworks (UNFCCC, federal, state) and GHG accounting best practices
Knowledge of sustainability issues
Knowledge of auditing processes
Understanding of energy and electricity generation and distribution concepts
Experience and knowledge of industrial operations and processes
This position may be located in Washington, DC, Sacramento, Chicago, IL, or Boonton, NJ.
