From obtaining permits and developing programs to the assessment and cleanup of contaminated sites, EPS provides a full range of professional services.
Position Overview:
EPS, a growing regional environmental consulting firm, is seeking an engineer or scientist to serve as a Senior Air Quality Consultant for our office in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will join our Air Quality Services Team, but will have opportunities to work in our other service areas, as well.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include managing projects in the areas of air quality permitting and compliance, as well as client management. The firm's clients include facilities in the aerospace, biofuels, chemical, power generation, manufacturing, and governmental sectors. The selected candidate will work with other experienced air quality professionals in an rewarding team environment.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a strong background in emissions inventory methodologies, air quality regulations (NESHAPs, NSPS, state rules), and air quality permitting (New Source Review, PSD, Title V). Experience with air dispersion modeling (AERMOD), greenhouse gas management, or environmental management systems (including ISO14001) is a plus. Candidates must have strong verbal and writing skills. B.S. or M.S. in chemical, civil, or environmental engineering, environmental science, or related science field is preferred.
