For more than 100 years Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens has delighted plant and flower enthusiasts from around the world. Pittsburgh's thirteen-room "crystal Palace" is one of the largest and finest Victorian glasshouses in the country.
Position Overview:
The Facilities Manager, under the supervison of the Director of Visitor Services and within Phipps mission of sustainable practices, manages maintenance of all buildings, exterior grounds and gardens including equipment maintenance and special exhibits and construction projects to high standard, with optimum economies.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of management and a stong knowledge of sustainable practices and OSHA regulations required.
