Silver Seed has built designated effluent systems whereby dairy farm wash down effluent water is treated by a specifically designed plant that will recycle water and produce fertilizer by separating water, solids and slurries to produce zero waste and halve water usage on dairy farms.

Silver Seed has conceived a solution whereby water can be clarified by using fertiliser chemicals producing three separate streams of usable product streams, namely: fresh water, fertiliser slurry and solid waste to be used for the production of flammable briquettes.

The concept of zero farm waste, reduced water usage and reduced fertiliser costs to the farmer has instigated a business opportunity for Silver Seed Holdings, which was created to commercialise this effluent control project to New Zealand, and ultimately, the world.
