IF Racing Inc.
IF Racing is a Pro Development cycling team based in Boston. We are trying to gain green and sustainability aware sponsors. Many people in the cycling world know that riding bikes is good for the body and the environment, but are not fully aware of the environmental impact the industry has. We are trying to purchase a used diesel van to convert to veggie oil that we will get from one of our local sponsors. We hope to not only educate about environmental stewardship but also create and educate future lifetime cyclists in areas not normally focused on, like the inner city.
Apart from a scholarship and other charitable work I organize and run an after school cycling program for high school students and our racers volunteer. Our goal is to provide inner city youth with an alternative means of transportation and the skills to help make it a lifetime passion.
Our team races on the east coast, across North America and also internationally and would benefit sponsors through brand awareness. Our permanent bike sponsor, Independent Fabrication is a world-renown frame builder and is employee owned and operated, locally here in Boston. A cycling distibuter will be selling our clothing with sponsor logos through bike shops and distributors across North America.
Most importantly IF Racing Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so all donations are tax deductible. We are at step two of a business plan that is geared toward education and environmental stewardship. Our final step is to help sustain a Boston City High School Cycling Team, donate time and money to educational and environmental initiatives, and continue to promote professional and amateur cycling throughout the US.
